Bag to school is a project founded by JCI Marina Singapore and JCI Cambodia-Phnom Penh aiming at promoting the primary education in the remote districts in Cambodia. SYEA is a not-for-profit initiative founded by JCI (Marina) Singapore and co-organised with People’s Association Youth Movement (PAYM) to empower local youth entrepreneurship. He created a voice-controlled automatic shaving device, and founded a start-up to bring that device to more people. ASEAN members are slowly committing to universal healthcare systems with Indonesia having the largest free healthcare program in the world, covering some 180 million people. The JCI (Junior Chamber International ) TOYP awards honors ten outstanding young people under the age of 40 each year. Roughly 250,000 overseas patients visit Singapore each year and also the hospitals are planning to boost the figures manifold. Bag to School has been implemented for the past six consecutive years, and this year ABA is very pleased to be a part of such an inspiring social cause for the very first time. Bag to School raises funds and materials to deliver to poor students in rural areas.
